Short Biography

I am a research assistant at the Faculty of Management at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. My academic journey began in 2000 when I started my Master’s studies in Computer Science at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science, and Electronics. From the outset, I was convinced that computer science would be my primary area of professional interest, and the diversity of its disciplines offered me numerous opportunities for development. During my studies, I also focused on improving my English, which is essential for a career in this field. In 2005, I graduated with a Master of Science in Engineering, specializing in computer systems.

I decided to gain practical experience in the IT industry to validate and expand my skills as a programmer. I believe that programming is one of the most essential competencies for IT professionals, whether in research or practical application. I worked for companies such as Grupa Onet.pl SA and Skyscanner Ltd. (Edinburgh), one of the largest flight search engines in Europe. The experience I gained at these organizations allowed me to deepen my skills in teamwork and solving complex optimization problems, which I had previously encountered only in theoretical contexts. Additionally, I had the opportunity to improve my language skills and connect with professionals from around the world.

After five years in the commercial sector, I founded my own IT company and subsequently received an offer to join the Faculty of Management at AGH as a research assistant. I embraced this opportunity because I have always aspired to publish my ideas on automatic text processing and present them at international scientific conferences. In 2013, I began my Ph.D. studies, during which I have been conducting extensive research on methods for automatic text processing.
